چکیده
The possibility of fusion ignition in proton-Boron$^{11}$ plasma is strongly enhanced if the energy from fusion-produced $\alpha$ particles channeled to fast protons, but an environment which most protons are thermally distributed. This hybrid thermonuclear and beam-plasma offers surprisingly large advantages either purely or fusion, neither can by themselves significantly exceed bremsstrahlung radiation emitted plasma. scheme has potential reduce confinement time reactants that required achieve order magnitude.

Effect of thermal fluctuations in topological p-wave superconductors
We study the effect of thermal fluctuations on the topological stability of chiral p-wave superconductors. We consider two models of superconductors: spinless and spinful with a focus on topological properties and Majorana zero-energy modes. We show that proliferation of vortex-antivortex pairs above the Kosterlitz-Thouless temperature TKT drives the transition from a thermal Quantum Hall insul...
متن کاملLetters Lower Hybrid Wave Excitation by a Fast Wave Current Drive Antenna
Excitation of the lower hybrid wave (slow wave) using a launcher designed for fast wave excitation has been observed under conditions where neither direct excitation nor mode conversion is expected to take place. The slow wave was revealed through the presence of its resonance cone. The experiment was performed with £2j < to <€ J2e. The coupling of the fast wave into the slow wave is attributed...
متن کاملHarmonics Estimation in Power Systems using a Fast Hybrid Algorithm
In this paper a novel hybrid algorithm for harmonics estimation in power systems is proposed. The estimation of the harmonic components is a nonlinear problem due to the nonlinearity of phase of sinusoids in distorted waveforms. Most researchers implemented nonlinear methods to extract the harmonic parameters. However, nonlinear methods for amplitude estimation increase time of convergence. Hen...
متن کاملMembrane-supported Yagi-uda Millimeter-wave Antennas
This paper presents the design, fabrication and “on wafer” characterization of membrane-supported YagiUda CPW fed antenna structures. The antennas were designed for the 60 GHz and 77 GHz frequency operating ranges. The 60 GHz antennas were fabricated on a semi-insulating GaAs membrane using GaAs micromachining. The 77 GHz antennas were manufactured on 1.4 μm thin SiO2/Si3N4 membranes obtained b...
متن کاملMetallography Investigation of Thermal Wave Control by Magneto-Static Field
In this paper we have studied the effect of magneto-static field onpropagation of thermal wave generated in metal by pulsed laser. In fact this interactiongenerate acoustic wave in different mechanisms. However, always the commonmechanism in the interactions of laser pulse and metal is the thermo-elastic wavegeneration. Applying the suitable magneto-static field on the s...
